Evolving with the Times
For several years, Aligni has been helping you print labels for parts and inventory units using DYMO printers.
We’re excited to expand our support to include a wider range of printers, offering you a more versatile and capable solution.
Flexibility, Stability, and Customization
The new support solution introduces several improvements:
- PDF Format: Output is now in PDF format, expanding compatibility to regular laser and inkjet printers, and more dedicated printer manufacturers such as Zebra, Brother, Rollo, Epson, and more.
- Liquid Templates: Templates are written in Liquid, a templating language based on HTML and CSS created by Shopify, and now widely supported by various software applications.
- Coming Soon: Multi-label sheets support.
New UI – More Control
The new label printing UI provides in-app template editing and renders a code template preview. Check out our extensive documentation for guidance and troubleshooting. Label templates include the following configuration options:
- Single or multi-label sheets
- Label width and height
- Page width and height
- Number of columns and rows
- Spacing between labels
DYMO Printing – End of Life
Aligni will no longer accept new label designs specified with the DYMO tools effective immediately.
Existing DYMO labels will continue to be supported until 2025-09-30.
Note that the new Liquid-based label designer works great with DYMO printers. We strongly encourage everyone to make the transition as soon as possible.

Tactical Updates
Never not getting better. You are working to build great products, we are working to help you do it better. Whether we are looking at a problem from a fresh perspective or seeing something new for the first time. We are constantly improving. Here are a few things we are rolling out soon for you.
- New Inventory Context Menu: Inventory items on the part inventory tab have a new context menu (right-click) with available options. This cleans up the UI a bit and gives us more depth to our functionality palette.
- Communication Management: New account setting to manage newsletter subscriptions.
- New Avatar Menu: Your new avatar menu consolidates functionality and (again) gives us an improved palette for future functionality.
